The boss had both knees replaced 6 months apart in 2020 and 2021 and her recovery was quicker and easier than if they had repaired them

She had an ACL replaced about 25 years ago and was laid up much longer than her replacements

Of course that kind of surgery has obviously been improved since then but still...
In university (1990 or so) I was taking an Athletic Therapy course and we watched a knee surgery as part of the course material. Thankfully surgical techniques have changed and improved since then.
Good evening slackers and flappers.

More shed work at the OOT place, didn't remember caulk the last trip, 3 tubes latr' today and that part is done.
Not sure what fun is in store for later or tomorrow, besides staying hydrated in the84F breezy conditions . . .
Was breezy here too, up to 50MPH gusts at times 30MPH sustained was pretty much all day.

They call me Mr. Kibbs

Good morning. 64°F/ 18°C going up to 74°F/ 23°C. SIL in Hudson FL. had to leave her house about 1:30am last night. Rising water from Hurricane Helene, house flooded.
Prayers sent for her and a lot of other folks in FL. If there is a positive side it sounds like a lot in KY and east TN are getting some groundwater recharge, hoping not all at once though. Looks like the New River in Pulaski / Montgomery Co VA is supposed to crest about 10-11' above flood stage:eek:
