We had 6 inches from Monday to yesterday evening about 4.i haven't been to the rain gauge today but my barn is flooded and it's starting to come in the basement.

Sounds to me like you two are not used to each other yet, she likes at least 6, but you showed up with only 4, she's a squirter, but you weren't prepared for the water works, now the basement is a mess...

So a little backstory on this pic

I was in bed last night and my Aurora app blipped that if it was clear outside I could probably see northern lights so I went out on the porch and didn't see a thing overhead due to the cloud cover; however, I did see a very faint light towards the mountains to the east so I fired up the camera on my iPhone

The almost imperceptible light with the naked eye turned into this with a fairly lengthy exposure

Once again, how the camera "sees" something like this that I cannot baffles me

When I looked at the pic after I took it I thought it looked like a UFO landing
