Morning all! Coffee time. Then we are heading to Tucson to find my sister in law a mobile home. Hoping to have her out of our spare bedroom by November. I think all the clutter is like a security mechanism for her. Or she is lazy.
Pictures of the sister in law?

Morning / Evening All!! Looking to be a nice day and going in to the city to our favourite restaurant to celebrate birthdays.

Never knew my paternal grandparents, grandpa was gone before my mom and dad were married and grandma before any of the kids. My maternal grandparents have been gone a long time now (‘82 &’91). Grandpa died of lung cancer and it was a brutal long lingering death but they kept him comfortable at home as much as they could with a morphine drip in his arm. Grandma was a stroke and quick without any pain. We spent a lot of time visiting them growing up and all holidays were spent at their house. My time with them is a key influence on my life and has driven my life long desire to live in a small town.

Tired today after all the driving. Was a good time in West Virginia though.
Too bad you stayed at the fru fru ski resort lol
I want to tour the company houses at cass that they restored
You can rent them too
Or rent the caboose at the top of the mountain to stay in

lol did you ride the lift ?
I’ve never been there
There is closer places to me to go ski
They have gncc racing in the summer that I don’t give 2 *f-words about because I had to listen to my cousin run his mouth about it so much
And in the winter time it is expensive to go there

I remember riding the Cass train back in 93 or 94 but I sure don't remember a ski resort

Of course I had the boss, 3 small kids, and her parents to ride herd on so I am lucky to even remember the train

I’m needing to process more of my tomato harvest. Typically I blanch and Reese the romas for making sauce in the winter, what I am struggling with is the cherries. My sweet 100 is producing almost a gallon of fruit a week right now and as much as my coworkers enjoy the, I’d like to save some of these for us as long as I can. I’ve never been in to canning and not really willing to invest the time learning now.

I think I’d like to try pickling some of the cherries, recipes online indicate they can last a couple months in the fridge, what I’m wondering is if any of you have tried and true methods or recipes you use for cherry tomatoes

Todays haul included some tumblers that have been real hit and miss, have double this in the fridge from earlier this week…
