Check the grounds. High resistance in a ground can lead to excessive Amp draw.
Could also be the motors themselves drawing too much. Any chance you have an Amp clamp in your tool arsenal?
Bad connections will also cause voltage drop, which will increase amperage. P=IxE

My sister bought a used 2012 kia soul and i said why the *f-word did you buy a kia soul
But that ugly thing has been mechanically problem free
For 11 year's easy on gas
But damn all the trim pieces on the car especially around the windows kept coming loose breaking and trying to fly off.
I guess they are known for it she asked me to fix it so i took a whole tubes
Of solar seal

She bought all new trim pieces and i filled each piece full of it
That was probably 7 year's ago and when she traded it in the kia dealership asked what she used lol

The street bike with the spoke wire wheel and the front forks not connected.
That's that vstar he's making it into a bobber
I'm borrowing a 78 Kawasaki csr750 off of him he got it for 100.00
It's rough but runs good
I'm teaching a friend from work how to ride Tuesday he's always wanted to learn
He's like 45
So if he scratches it up it won't matter.
He's buying a motorcycle as soon as he passes his license test.

Amp clamp? I'll be looking into that.

Ed was correct as usual. Passenger side fan is fubared. I just disconnected it for now.

I wouldn't believe a word that mf'er says.

The Amp clamps are nice to check draws because you don't have to disconnect the battery, install a shutoff and connect your meter in parallel. These new cars take so long to completely power down and still wake up modules so often it makes it a pain to do it that way. You simply clamp it around the battery cable and watch the meter.

While not a car battery, I had a OEM Yussa in a Yamaha still going strong when I sold it, that was 14 years old.
From day one after acquiring those 4 cylinders, if the bike was going to sit for more than a week or 2, a 1A desulfator / maintainer was turned on.

I'm currently at 17 yrs on a starting boat battery doing the same routine, but that desulfator is 1.5A.
As long as you don't mind when the time comes and you're walking, carry on and get all the goodie out of it you can.

Around here, Exide batteries from Home Depot seem to be the best option for price and quality

Do you guys use block heaters or battery mats or any other cold weather starting mods?
HD here doesn’t carry any automotive. Exide batteries are only available from speciality dealers and seem to cost a fortune.

We use block heaters if not parked in a garage. Always fun driving south and having people wonder if it’s electric because there is a plug hanging out the front.
