After seeing the trouble my little wife has had with her knees......I feel for anyone with knee trouble. Prayers !!!!
Thanks Randy. It sucks but I’m letting the doctor know when and what issues im having. I will get through this. Just not as quick as I’d hoped for.

Did you pull the oil control valves to make sure they are not stuck sending the phasers into full phase? Pull them out and add 12v and ground to the terminals and they should open and close when power is applied and removed. Should also have a very distinct click when they actuate.

I am curious where the cam lobes on cylinder 1 are pointing at TDC. I have attached the factory timing pics for the chain just to make sure you have the right information.

Something that i found out recently, gear on crank, some have a pin some are shrink fit on, gm and Cummins pin, ford shrink . I don't know which on dodge. they have been known to shear pin or slip, therefore the timing marks line up but crank is out of is out of position vs marks on gear. got to find TDC of #1 then look to see if marks line up. been down this road couple times

I know absolutely nothing about oil control valves. I went to school to be a mechanic in 80 and 81. Cars and trucks were simple back then. But, this is my granddaughter's Jeep, and I'm gonna try like hell to figure it out. I really appreciate your help Steve.

Found out where they are. I'll clean them tomorrow.

Hi Mike! How's the old F tree kitty doing? Still stroking along?
Yep just did a rebuild on the 7.3 cylinder number 3 burned a piston. Delipped pistons so now it should handle the boost. Only 1500 miles on it now so have only taken it to 40psi. So far doing great. How have you been doing Steve?
