In the infinite wisdom of engineers, the upper trailing link bolt on a Traverse is installed with the head towards the body and the nut on the accessible outside of the subframe.



So rather than take 15 minutes to replace that suspension component, I have to remove the entire rear subframe..



Warranty time on that job is 5 hours.
If they had flipped the bolt it would legitimately be a 30 minute repair time.

Looking like the severe weather we had last night did indeed clear the air, as I see no haze this morning. Did knock out power for a few hours yesterday, small price to pay I guess.

Look at it this way, you should be grateful for the 4-1/2 hours you gained to provide for you and yours, besides, if they didn't do things like that, they wouldn't need your services, they could get by with a flunky for less money.
