Sounds like a good ride. Lots of nice scenery in that neck of the woods.

One of the favorite stops along your planned ride route was the stop at the top of the hill. I always liked the ol' Miss river .

I'd imagine the river is a bit higher than in these photos.
These were from July '22, when we did a group day ride that included Elmer's before the auction and closing. It was about a 365 mile loop, good ride but a bit long for my liking for 1 day.

Morning master debaters, sunshine this a.m looking to be in the 80's, I rather slack off and drink coffee but still trying to catch up, got an easy day today, hopefully be back early to enjoy the pool with the kids. Don't slack to hard today and take it easy on the crank.

There is a pasture at the end of the road here that when the cows lie down they disappear in the grass. I swear the grass is as tall as the calves. On the ride home last night I would only see 4 or 5 of the 30 or so cows that are normally in that pasture. Wasn’t until I had slowed down to turn that I could see some black bodies down low in the grass.
