So sitting here trying to figure out what to do. Elliott wasn’t well when he got home from school, needed an Advil and rest after school, was pretty upset about something that happened today. After he rested, had supper and some screen time he was able to tell us what was bugging him. Apparently two boys had in school suspensions today for something they said/ did to another boy I’m the change room after gym yesterday. Then when playing in the school yard at recess another kids got really pissed off and told a couple of the girls that he was going to ring his gun to school and shoot them.

Here it is almost 10pm and we’ve heard nothing from the school. So in the last 2 days, 3 boys out of a class of 18 have either committed or threatened assault on another. WTF are we supposed to do? Not at all impressed with our small country school right now.

There are bright sides Gary, he is learning about uncertainty and conflict at a young age, sheltering him from this entirely will not prepare him for adult life. I do understand your concern and you should question those in charge why no communication was provided. Good luck and hang in there.
