Does anyone work around here? I am still out and can’t keep up. This thread had gone to sh!t. Can’t we just let Brad help us learn how bad Milwaukee is and what is truly the best cordless tool out there? I’m sure Dallas needs a new one for his sandpaper dent puller.

I work, but check in here frequently for my daily dose of sarcasm. And it's an excuse to avoid doing rear brakes on my winter beater ford escort at the moment

I thought you were saying you had an idea what they were for. Of course it was one of our genius engineers. After years of putting 24 cores on a tray, someone decided that 36 is better. So 36 core stacks with small squares of a high density foam between them. Naturally, they developed a tipping problem and cores hit the ground, at which point they are scrap. The modern aluminum core materials are so ridiculously thin it's a miracle any make it out the door. The "fix" is those bars shoved in the ends of the carts with the foam balls so as to not damage the core when it makes contact. Not a specialized foam that may last a minute, but bottom dollar #chinafoam. If you ever want to see things wear out, go to a factory. There are places in the plant where aluminum fin material about the consistency of Reynold's Wrap has worn grooves in stainless steel.

'97, 2.0 automatic. It's a rare sight up here, too, especially living in the rust belt. I have a love/hate relationship with this POS. I love its fuel economy, and how agile it is. I hate it, because it's gutless without having a 5 speed manual, and it's a Ford Escort. I was genuinely considering junking it instead of doing brakes.

$157 for rotors, pads, drums and shoes from rock auto.... that changed my mind. 34-38mpg in the summer ain't bad, either

I guess all my tools are junk, too lol
