Sad to say, but they make these things to be used and thrown away.
I understand that you can afford to do that, as I can.
I believe we should CHOOSE to preserve things if its an option.
I would rather keep something working and spend my money and time on my family and things we WANT to do over wasting time to go buy another expendable POS.

Just another glaring example of our downward slide into planned obsolescence and our disposable society

I get angry when all you get is a "quick start guide" with half a dozen childish cartoons instead of useful meaningful information

I agree with you, Toro expects me to put it away in the fall without fogging the motor or draining the carb or adding fuel stabilizer and after a few years of that I get to buy a new mower...

F^%$ that

but its probably rainbow colored right ?
Shadow black I think.
They can all have their "rainbows".
I just want something that runs and doesnt *s-wordt out critical engine or transmission parts at random.
Would prefer that she DIDNT call me to tell me shes broken down and stuck on the roadside.

Maintaining things is my nod to conservation.
Just can't see how buying the latest and greatest eco safe wizzamibang is better for the planet if my old one is still in serviceable condition.
Completely agree Adam.
If you dont need to, why replace it?
Because it's been taught that you shouldn't be bothered with maintaining it, thats why.
Its all a disposable-convenience cultire now.
The ones here who talk the loudest about "conservation" are the ones who use the most resources.
They dont have the presence of mind to even understand what they Stand for.
Pretty sad.

Suck it up Butter cup.
Those folks are WAY more-gooder than any of us.
Its a priviledge for you to be a part of that life.
It is a privilege indeed to be invited to help with a ceremony such as this.....believe me, I know that.

Well if it has a blue oval on front you get the rainbow and the other stuff you don’t want

Good morning fellas. Not as hot today, only hitting 85.. Grabbed one of my varmint rifles out of the safe yesterday and dry fired a couple times, looking through the scope at a blank wall. I’m sure glad I did that because i noticed the vertical crosshair was jumping left and right whenever the firing pin fell.. That could have been really frustrating if I wouldn’t have noticed that. So I swapped scopes out with a known good one I had taken off another rifle. Went from 3-9 to 4-16 now. Much better setup anyway. I’m hoping to sight it in the afternoon, pending wind today.
