As with most auctions, there are bargains to be had if no one is bidding against you.
There was quite a few hives going for what I call a reasonable price and the condition of the hives was pretty good. But they wasn’t really what I was looking for.
I brought 6 hive roofs as my homemade ones are showing there age after making them about 15yrs ago
I got a honey mixer/creamer for a 1/4 of the new price. Now I will be able to mix batches of honey better & easier.
I also got a Brunel microscope eye cam for a 10th of the new price, not that I make slides up much

it just seemed a bargain
Also there was a talk on bees which lasted just over 1hr with some interesting bits about how bees were kept in trees many yrs ago, this was when honey and wax were valued more than timber was.
I got a recording from my phone which I will upload small bits to YouTube, it maybe interesting for some guys.
