Those original Power Wagons are badass. My personal favorite Dodge’s though, are the model years of 68-71 sweptline pickups, because of the grille and headlight styling. I also like some square body Chevy’s and the 78-79 Fords. Being younger than most of you, I also appreciate the trucks I “grew up with” such as the 88-98 Chevy’s and the early 90’s Ford’s and last but not least, 2nd gen Dodge’s.
How bout a 1995 Ferd F-one fitty fer by fer? My cousin bought it new.
He sold it to my wife, who bought it for me for my Birfday for $1,800 the same year we got married(2008).
Hows that for a good woman?
Only thing on this truck that isnt original is the farts in the seat cushions...
And tires, except the spare. Thats still original.
Ok, that probably SHOULDNT be OEM equipment... :p 0727201946.jpg0727201946a.jpg0727201945_HDR.jpg0727201946_HDR.jpg

I've never owned a white truck, until here in the last few years, and I will say it has grown on me. That one is spiffy.

I have always liked the rims ford used in those years of F series trucks.

Last white truck I "owned" was a 1983 Ferd Ranger. First year they made them a class instead of a trim package.
It had some sport stripes and a heater.
No other frills.
Had a 2.0 liter 4 banger and a 4 speed.
More than enough to get a dumbarse kid in trouble.

All of the trucks I drive for a living nowadays are white, and they have someone else's name on the side.
Thats perfectly fine by me, as they pay me from the time I get in it to the time I get out of it.

My grandpa bought brand new a 1994 F-250 4x4 ext cab long box with the 460 in it… Hunter green with the tan two tone center.. I miss that truck.

Everything in the mid 90's was hunter green.

Pretty sure wife even had undies in that color back then.

Guess that sounded a little harsh.
Dont misunderstand.
I'm greatful to work for a company that appreciates what I do.
I also appreciate them for letting me continue to do it.

Theres a lot of days I dont go home at 5. Some days I dont go home at all. Ive worked 30+ hours and slept 3 at a hotel, then gone back til the job is done.
All the while, my family is waiting at home.

Still consider myself lucky to get those benefits these days.
Company vehicle. Paid drive time to and from(portal to portal). Per diem if I need to stay overnight. Fuel card that stays with me, so can use with whatever vehicle I use for work.

Kinda why I stayed away from white trucks for a while, was they were always associated, as being fleet trucks, company trucks, or government owned trucks. When I pulled into job site, I did not want people getting me confused with who I was there for/with.

These days thou, I don't care.

White princess or snow white, as I call it, was a fish & game (BLM) Bureau of Land Management truck. It was at a local auction and it went cheap. Maybe because it was white. Who knows? I don't care anymore. I like it just the same.

I didn't think it was harsh at all.

It's just white trucks around here, seem to mean it's a company / government truck.

Id say go for it. :p
That pos NEVER had that kind of power available...
Let it LIVE!!!!
(even if its gotta live with Chebby parts in it.)
Ok, I couldnt be that supportive if you wanted to put that setup into a 1983-1991 Ranger.
Yes, I know they had chit for powerplants too...;)
The rangers of any era have been in the junkyard or crushed

Anything worth bidding on, or really interesting?

I added a hive to my property this year and have been enjoying beekeeping so far. Started with a 5 frame Nuc and just added a second 10 frame brood box on Wednesday. I've been pleasantly surprised at how docile the bees are, compared to the other flying stinger-weilding bastards I usually encounter.

I have a number of apple trees and a good size garden plot, so keeping bees just seemed to make sense once I thought about it.
As with most auctions, there are bargains to be had if no one is bidding against you. 😉

There was quite a few hives going for what I call a reasonable price and the condition of the hives was pretty good. But they wasn’t really what I was looking for.

I brought 6 hive roofs as my homemade ones are showing there age after making them about 15yrs ago

I got a honey mixer/creamer for a 1/4 of the new price. Now I will be able to mix batches of honey better & easier.

I also got a Brunel microscope eye cam for a 10th of the new price, not that I make slides up much 🤔 it just seemed a bargain 😂

Also there was a talk on bees which lasted just over 1hr with some interesting bits about how bees were kept in trees many yrs ago, this was when honey and wax were valued more than timber was.

I got a recording from my phone which I will upload small bits to YouTube, it maybe interesting for some guys.

Good morning,
It’s sunny day here but with a fluffy to stiff-ish north/northeast wind, which has its chill to.
As it’s an offshore wind the sea is flat, so hopefully my mate will take his sailing boat out for the first time this yr 👍👍👍

Good morning all. Nice truck Brent, actually they were all nice. Ignore @dall as he has Ford envy, they tried to remove it at the hospital, but they missed and removed something else. Lol

One more day!

no i just got tired of working on a truck that you needed to almost know what day of the month it was built because ford though half years was good to change parts
and then youd also need to know what motors and transmissions you could use together

so ford has always had ignorant ideas

i did mechanic work for a few years when i was younger at my buddys garage

so ford can suck a dick they have done stupid *s-word since the 70s

chevrolet you can use any transmission with any motor as the bell housing bolt patterns are the same

dodge im not sure about but i dont think they had as many engine transmission combinations available
