I've had these heads since the 80s. The first thing I did was have bigger valves installed. They were on a 350 that I had in a 79 Mustang. It got 18 miles to the gallon on the highway, and ran low 7s in the 1/8 mile. I'm hoping to see the same results in my Dakota.Yes! Sounds like they’re done up right!
Good question.Where’s @maulhead been?
Anything worth bidding on, or really interesting?Good morning wackers & wacko's
I'm at another bee & equipment related auction. I got here early (08:30) and there’s already 108 items in the auction

Bald faced hornets are the worst of the stingy thingsAnything worth bidding on, or really interesting?
I added a hive to my property this year and have been enjoying beekeeping so far. Started with a 5 frame Nuc and just added a second 10 frame brood box on Wednesday. I've been pleasantly surprised at how docile the bees are, compared to the other flying stinger-weilding bastards I usually encounter.
I have a number of apple trees and a good size garden plot, so keeping bees just seemed to make sense once I thought about it.
He’s a slacker@JoeDirt , kick every last one of those G'nTG mfers in the sack. It looks like rain down there, so if you wait until they all convene under a canopy you should make quick work of them.
You aren't joking there, I found a nest of them last year while moving firewood. Got me through my gloves. I got them backBald faced hornets are the worst of the stingy things
I got hit last year cutting in brush they came out of nowhere before I noticed anything they were all crawling on my pants and stinging me. I ran about a half a mile before I finally lost them all lol.You aren't joking there, I found a nest of them last year while moving firewood. Got me through my gloves. I got them back

This trucks owner is asking 25k(CAD) for it. They seem to be quite rare around hereThose are bringing stupid money now
A 1978 parts truck with mismatched engine/trans and fenders
Sold for 23k at a farm auction
We couldn't believe it.
I like a mix of the 3 as well. 5th and 6th gen f fords, pretty much like all gens of chev pick ups, and first gens of dodge pick ups (81-93)There's a few fords I like. Hell there's even Chevy's I like also. Dodge just happens to be a favorite.
When I was a teenager, my one cousins Shawn & his dad (my uncle Ken) built and sold hot rods, and such. They lived in southern mississippi, for summer break mom would load us kids up and we would head to mississippi (from wisconsin) for 4-6 weeks, so mom could see her brothers, and we could hang out with our cousins.
Uncle Ken & Shawn were always building and flipping cars & trucks. Every time we went south they had another fleet of projects in the wings, or ones they were working on.
Uncle Ken had a 1959 f150 4x4 that he built a healthy 390 for, he kept that truck around for a few years, he was pretty fond of it. Which is unusual as most things they built, were sold almost right away. He used to let my cousin Levi and I take it out and have fun with it, that truck was a blast.
I still remember one Friday night Ken let, Levi, Jason & I take the f150 out for some fun. All uncle Ken said to us before we left was, don't do anything I would do, and best be back before the sun comes up, there's chores to do. We went to town got our hands on a case of beer & a pack of cigs, we thought we were the chit that night as we were all 17 years old.
We stayed out all night in the ford driving back roads finding mud holes to swamp threw, drinking & smoking. We got back right as the sun was breaking, Ken came out of the house walked around his ford, all he said with a smirk on his face was, y'all know yer gonna wash it, you boys better not of stole the beer you've been drinkin' out of my shop fridge, you best go feed the cows, and get eggs, mama's gonna want her eggs soon, so she can make us breakfast.
We sure had a hoot of a time that night. Few days later Ken told us the sherriff asked him a few questions when he was in town, about a few mailboxes that were bashed in, and someone allegedly ripped threw farmer browns alfalfa field with mud tires, you boys know anything about that? Nope sure don't.
Anyways his ford was almost identical to this one. Only truck Ken had that I liked a bit more was 1969 c10 with a warmed up 396 in it.
