In case you guys are not following the winters over thread.
These pic's were taken in western Colorado on 4-4-23, they have recorded 635" of snow so far this winter, and there's over a 200" base up there. And they got another 16" of snow on Wednesday. Yes those are two story houses.
This area of Colorado is known as the Grand Mesa. I've seen it snow there in July, not just flakes either, 6-7 inches of fresh snow in July. I've worked on houses up there, when I lived in that area of CO.
Grand Mesa is the largest flattop mountain range in the world, elevation between 10,000 and 11,000 feet. Encompassing more than 500 square miles, there's just over 300 stream fed alpine lakes. That area of Colorado just makes it's own weather.
Randy you should come visit.
