Got to make some chainsaw noise today. Had this Plum tree in the front that was split and rotted all the way down the middle of the trunk. I liked it but it was overgrown and was gonna fall on its own before long.

I see a big curly dairy whip gravity defying looking bit of snow that looks to be coming out of or going in to some sort of duct.

That's what else I see.

The snow has drifted and that's the porch roof. Completely understandable since you have probably never experienced it.

I've never actually seen that much snow at one time and do not care to!!!

That's the porch roof, and it's a wind driven cornice or drift coming off of it.

Cornices often defy gravity, and hang out over nothing. Then collapse at anytime.

It makes me ask, even though a lot of mistakes have clearly been made in the case, aren't there DNA traces?

Barney Fife (local sheriff at the time) completely jacked that investigation up. That's why he's no longer sheriff round here. He didn't suspect fowl play, so he never really got into getting DNA, prints etc. Then he released the scene, by the time he figured out what happened it was too late to get evidence.

Local newspaper had a article saying he should of called in the state authorities for help, or someone with more experience in those situations, before he released the scene. He was a fine cop for writing tickets, etc, he was poor at best for handing a murder investigation.

We just got our place back. The wife's overly large family took over for the day. Huge Easter egg hunt and feast. Over 250 eggs.

Hey bishes hope everyone day was fun , especially watching the little petri dishes hunting for then goodie filled eggs. One of our clan had several robbed from when placed early this morning till when teh girls were let loose.

Thank you kindly. I still live with my folks so it's really their place but I handle most of the yard work and maintenance stuff. I'm hoping to put a small flowering cherry in place of that tree. I need to get a pallet of mulch and get the flowerbeds squared away.
