Are you skeered its gonna run good or somefin?
I guess mebbe you should be.
Damn shame to have to spend money on a saw to make it run better than one off the shelf....

I like the 695's (I have 3).
Larry (Lnk) is building one now that he picked up.
I use the piss out of mine.
I probably would too, but a 488 would be a better fit for me with the size wood I normally cut.
Ive got a Mac PM700 that takes care of my 70 cc needs. Pulls a 28" bar and full comp chain just fine, and sounds DAMN GOOD doing it.
Little 350 Hoosky with Cajun spices is my go-to nowadays for everything smaller, and will pull a longer bar than the 18" I run it with.
Its "sweet spot" is with its original .325" chain and 18" bar though.
Like a flippin "laser beam".

Wait, nipple piercings?
I HATE tiddy jewelry!
Like biting down on a buckshot pellet in a good deer steak, or bird shot in quail or doves...enjoyed myself, until I knew id have to pay to get out of it.:p

At the time i thought they were pretty awesome but in retrospect i think they are kinda like them poison dart frogs- they look really cool but it's actually nature's way of telling you to avoid that critter.

Yeah, I meant in larger wood. Lol
I use a couple of Poulan 3300 54cc saws for firewood (.325/18").

Sold Shindaiwas for an all-too-short while.
Roberts Supply out of FL wasnt the best for dealer support.
Shindaiwa trimmers and saws were damn good back in the 90s though.
Damn shame they didnt get the support they needed. If they had, they could have bought Echo, instead of the other way round.
797 was an absolute BEAST of a saw from the factory. Couldnt stall that mfer, and ive put my fat arse into trying.
488 was an awesome firewood/lightweight bucking saw.
695 was a good pro saw for the woods.
Ive still got one in the rafters that needs a piston and fuel line.
T27 trimmer is STILL my favorite, and I HATE trimmers.
It was insanely light, and had ALL the bawls. Worked great for general trimming small grass, but could also pull a brush blade, and even a sapling blade with no fuggs sacrificed.
Let me know if you ever want to part with that 695. I may be interested. I haven't even run mine, but I like the way it feels weight and balance wise with a 20 on it. I love my 488.

Good morning all. Not going to judge anyone for the jc Whitney's wimmenz y'all have seen. I like them factory stock, just like my saws.

Enjoying the wood stove until it gets light out. And the coffee.

Cold and snowing here. Hopefully it'll freeze and stay that way for a while.

Already at the sports complex for a full day of youth basketball and then I'm hoping to tear down my son's TTR engine to see what's binding up in it.

Enjoy your day fellas.

I wanna see pics of granny hitting a jump wide open on the snowmobile. :D
Unfortunately Granny doesn’t ride - and what I meant was that my wife and I are taking the kids for a ride after we leave the party. I wasn’t very clear earlier. But funny nonetheless!
