Wife decided it was cold enough to light the stove today, only supposed to get down to 27 tonight. Whatever makes her happy.

Three more nights of on call.

Waiting on fuel line for the shinny 695, then she will be ready to fire up.

Still waiting on @dall to make that materials list.

lol thats a easy list

but you need to look at the price of a factory one before you go out and buy material
besides the plate and tubing you will also need a pump lights hoses cylinder and scissor section
5 4x8 sheets of 1/8 plate
1 2x6 tubing 20 feet long
10 3inch c channel 20 feet long
1 2 x2 square tubing 20 feet long
pivot pins and mounts
and stuff to make a straight plane on truck frame

He's still a thieving twat of the highest order.
I try to avoid him as he makes me want to stab him with my boot.

Evap purge pump failures, but thats a part problem and used on a bunch of engines.
A few water control valves (2).
A few high mileage PCV oil separator oil leak at the rear of the cylinder head.

That's it really. Turbocharged, sliding camshafts, active fuel management..I expected these the blow up left and right but they've been a reliable engine.
The 4cyl sound is weird from a full size truck though.

That's good to hear. I'm biased but I like the turbo'd small displacement engines in half tons. They aren't made for towing but they are still capable of it and they haul ass when they aren't loaded. A lot of trucks, including a lot of fleet work trucks, will never need to tow a trailer. They are a good fit for the application.

Ford has been selling more EcoBoosts than V8s for nearly a decade and this was the only direct response from any competitor until Toyota came out with the new Tundras.

Please forgive overseer of the Ferd almighty.

Hey Tim I grew up in a strictly loyal GM family... but I'm loyal to quality not badges!

Agree totally with ya Joe. I've been in this Trail Boss since September. It is definitely winning me over. I'll make a short story out of this long one. Saw two Ford Lightening all electric 150's today in cold northern weather. Both trucks had fogged up and partially icy windows. Wondering the heat source for heater/defroster cycles. Are there electric grid panels in the duct work? Doesn't look to be doing a good job. Specially with two different trucks and drivers. Sorry so lengthy Joe.

Sounds like a lot of cutting and welding. Going to see how much all that material weighs, and then do the math, and realize I probably won't do it. Would need to add a plasma cutter to that list. And a mig welder, as I only have a ac/DC stick and tig. Thanks for the reality check @dall.

No apologies needed Tim, I'm happy to BS about trucks. I don't know much about the F150 Lightnings but I really like my 2015 F150 with the EcoBoost. I've had it for two years and haven't done much more than wash it and change the oil. It's got buttons that I still don't know what they do.
