Naw the cold keeps the tweekers away.
I'd move.
lol thats a easy listWife decided it was cold enough to light the stove today, only supposed to get down to 27 tonight. Whatever makes her happy.
Three more nights of on call.
Waiting on fuel line for the shinny 695, then she will be ready to fire up.
Still waiting on @dall to make that materials list.
Actually it's never turn down a handy from a midget.
At least that's what they say in Michigan.
He's still a thieving twat of the highest order.
I try to avoid him as he makes me want to stab him with my boot.
Evap purge pump failures, but thats a part problem and used on a bunch of engines.
A few water control valves (2).
A few high mileage PCV oil separator oil leak at the rear of the cylinder head.
That's it really. Turbocharged, sliding camshafts, active fuel management..I expected these the blow up left and right but they've been a reliable engine.
The 4cyl sound is weird from a full size truck though.
Please forgive overseer of the Ferd almighty.
Sounds like a lot of cutting and welding. Going to see how much all that material weighs, and then do the math, and realize I probably won't do it. Would need to add a plasma cutter to that list. And a mig welder, as I only have a ac/DC stick and tig. Thanks for the reality check @dall.lol thats a easy list
but you need to look at the price of a factory one before you go out and buy material
besides the plate and tubing you will also need a pump lights hoses cylinder and scissor section
5 4x8 sheets of 1/8 plate
1 2x6 tubing 20 feet long
10 3inch c channel 20 feet long
1 2 x2 square tubing 20 feet long
pivot pins and mounts
and stuff to make a straight plane on truck frame
Ray, I did get a few year ago and they are still available. This is the model that I haveI like the idea of rollers on the leading edge, but haven't seen one. Did pick this telescoping rake a few years ago.
True Temper 86 in. Aluminum Handle 17 ft. Telescoping Roof Rake 193055510 - The Home Depot
Wish someone woulda told me about this before my last girlfriend...
I've never needed to rake snow offa my roof. Figured I'd just throw that out there.
We know - you’d move.I've never needed to rake snow offa my roof. Figured I'd just throw that out there.
…me neever! I ain’t never even seen a snowmobile in person. LolI've never needed to rake snow offa my roof. Figured I'd just throw that out there.
Agree totally with ya Joe. I've been in this Trail Boss since September. It is definitely winning me over. I'll make a short story out of this long one. Saw two Ford Lightening all electric 150's today in cold northern weather. Both trucks had fogged up and partially icy windows. Wondering the heat source for heater/defroster cycles. Are there electric grid panels in the duct work? Doesn't look to be doing a good job. Specially with two different trucks and drivers. Sorry so lengthy Joe.

Lucky me the wind blows the roof clean.
Mine too - I live “up on the ridge” as we say around here, and I never have to remove any snow load.Lucky me the wind blows the roof clean.
