Sounds cold but fun.

Hope I can get in another good fishing trip with dad, but not this year with mom the way she is.
Hes pretty much tied to her with her Parkinson's.
She doesnt know anyone else anymore, wont even stay 5 minutes with me without panicking if she cant see him.

That is a *s-wordty disease. Maybe worse than Alzheimer's.

Went through that with my grandmother. The progression of anxiety and separation attacks is hard to watch. And then to lose memory of name's of close family members and something as simple as how to hold silverware. I've seen and felt your pain my man. It sux!!

The snow was like concrete at my parents.
Had to use Dad's tractor to bust the deeper stuff up so I could push it with the truck.





Sun is nice today.

3 days of 30-50 mph winds sure does pile snow up and very dense, 2 ft drift about 4 ft out of the garage, back side of that taper down to almost nothing about 20 yards out. Not fun moving it due to wind direction- hit the house and create a vortex, no matter which way I went got back in my face, -12 deg F + wind chill took a couple attemps to knock it down with blower so I could get out, Tractor down, coolant leak from somewhere too dang cold to play with that right now, warm upon the way. wind down now and direction changed a bit so clean up in order later and its above zero . Dang wind was so strong it was sucking all the heat out of the wood stove- need a key damper for days like those.

Nope, a year. Next December is still next year, as is next week. Burning last year's cuttings this winter. I guess I need to be more precise around you @dall
