Made it home last night.
Kids are coming over shortly for steaks and baked taters.
Got more firewood brought in and ashes taken out. Wood heater is kickin it out in the lean-to.

Gotta haul in my dirty clothes and luggage this afternoon, then slackness will take over.

Running two 12” Lodge cast iron skillets here, doing made to order ribeyes…they wanted cast iron this time and I don’t mind a bit, ain’t gotta slave outside. Dry rubbed with Killer Hogs Steak Rub since last night. The JD and Coke inside anyhow…

Hes pretty much tied to her with her Parkinson's.
She doesnt know anyone else anymore, wont even stay 5 minutes with me without panicking if she cant see him.

That is a *s-wordty disease. Maybe worse than Alzheimer's.

We did ribeyes in our two 10” Lodge cast irons yesterday for lunch. Course ground hickory smoked salt and ground black pepper then seared to Med/Rare-Med. Melted in our mouths.. And this morning the Mrs. and I had sirloin done the same way with our pancakes. I love my cast iron pans!
