I had a 79 YZ400 that was a handful. Scary even.

Last big bore bike I rode was a Yamaha XT600?650? Enduro. I dont even remember.
What I DO remember is that mfer rode me instead of the way it shoulda been.
Was riding trails with a buddy. He was on a 1990 CR250. I remember it because it had pink, grey, and white plastics.
The Yamaha was one he rebuilt for a buddy after he crashed it and screwed up his shoulder.
That mfer pulled like a D-9 Cat. Dragged me over logs, stumps, small trees.
It was WAY too much bike for my experience level. I had never ridden something that big. Used to a 125 or 250 2 stroke that you could muscle around.
That big bish did NOT respond to brute force. It WAS brute force.

My buddy had a CR500 that was just insane to ride. I took off on it one time and came back a minute later and said “you can have this MFer” too much for me.
