Must help the fields soils some with all that chitting they do. That’s all they do, and honk

I was amazed this morning how silent it was out. Not only were the frogs not making any noise but neither were the geese, not sure if it was the cooler temps or what but all I could hear was my footsteps on the road and an owl hooting off in the distance.

Them sunsabiches were everywhere out there

I've been meaning to ask if you used a local guide or outfitter when you came up. Calvin from Wavey Creek Outfitters is my neighbour, he's sold the business now but I think he would have been in charge the last time you were up.

Never hired a guide. We scouted for new spots in the marsh every day between hunts and found our own. 8 of us would shoot 400 ducks in a week. One local guide named Troy would often hop in with us lol

Was Troy also a commercial pilot?

Ducks and geese are everywhere up there. Never seen anything like it

Today was the first time I noticed any real amount of them so still early in the migration, lots of warm weather to come, I expect them to be hanging out for a few weeks before moving any further south. Lots of crops haven't been harvested yet so lots of food sources to fatten up on.

Don’t believe so. He lived across Netley Creek from Murdock Drive

Has to be the same guy, did he have a fancy wake boat too? He used to be our neighbour at the old place and is a total arrogant ass, one of the reasons we never built on that lot, and the guy we sold that lot too. He claims to run a tree service now too but I have never seen any equipment or work being done by them.
