Evening fellas. I said I would dump a few pics from the weekend tree removal, so here are a few.

Tree at the start.

Attacking the lower stuff first. I suck at heights. Lol

My nieces fiance on day 2. He likes heights, right.

The tree after. All down with only a couple minor dings to the patio block and wood shed.

Thanks Randy. Hasn't really sunk in yet. I just hope he likes engines.
So on a similar note, we found out Saturday afternoon that the grandkid is gonna be a little hard tail.
They were hoping for a soft tail.
Dont matter to me either way.
They would both get the same treatment.
Little Wyatt Don is healthy so far, and we should be getting to meet him sometime right after New Year.
Wrenching/hunting/fishing buddy in training coming soon.:)

cut both tendons for the pinky finger

lol i bought half a beef so they dont have to spend as much on groceries
Hear you there.
Thinking about going in with dad and keeping a beefer for next year.
Easier to kill and dress with the 4630 Ferd and FEL. Would be cheaper to do that and have the carcass butchered.
We used to do that when I was a kid.

My grandad worked for a poultry company, so he could bring home the "strays" after they caught a poultry house. That's where a lot of the chicken I ate as a kid came from.
Not "yard birds" for sure, but still good.

if I was setup with a holding area and shed for a beef I’d already had one
I was offered a couple wilder beef yearlings for 400 bucks but they would have to be put down where they are now and I’d have to get a butcher date setup and that is a way off
