Good night my friends.
It Lives!!!
Good on yeah to be helpin guys needs to have his head adjusted... serious business cuttin is not simple like some folk.Have you guys ever had that moment where you wonder if you just saved someone’s life or bad injury?
Tonight I am outside starting the grill and hear my neighbor running saw. He’s not the sharpest butterknife in the fillet knife kit. Look over about 50 yards away and see a dead oak tree top move about 8-10’ and stop. As did the chain. As he continued to try and rev the saw it was pinched and I could tell from afar.
So I go to the line fence and see he’s struggling. Wife is holding a 100’ jump rope taught. I ask him if it’s pinched emphatically and if he needs a saw. He admits he could use some help.
I grab a saw, and head over. Tree is about 10” diameter. He back cut angled down first about 5/8 through the tree. Then tried to face cut straight to the angled cut. No notch. Obviously he cut the tension wood and it fell on the saw sword as he called it. there was about an inch wide of holding wood left.
i was like dude wtf. You’re gonna kill yourself. This thing could break off the stump at any time. I quickly notched above his cut and told his heifer to pull and back cut and it fell right over. Grabbed the poulan pro before it fell to the ground. I punched the remaining wood between where his saw was and my cut and it knocked right off the stump.
He’s was very thankful as was I his kid didn’t see him get hurt as my boy and him are friends.
Sorry for the long post but Christ people…. Darwin was correct.
Rant over carry on. GFY

The way things are going politically, it’s hard not to spill up sometimes. It’s good to have respectful discussion on it IMO, policy effects everyone wether you’re into politics or not.Good morning fuggers, and a hearty GFY to all. Thanks to everyone for keeping it civil, and respecting others. We came perilously close to the line, and I may have stepped over it. I will be more careful going forward. Sometimes I need to just shut up.
Carry on and stay safe. Enjoy life, that is my goal.
