No coating. It wouldn't matter.

Not even a little bit. Just a dude with some wrenches and pliers.

Not really.
Couple fittings and some nylon line.

Cool tool. Like I've said before you are the man with a plan and tools!

Mf'ers told me no way one could torch the head off this siezed leaf spring bolt without ruining the frame.

Evening bishes, I am at the point where they bought to be paying me by the mile instead of the hour. 620 miles today and 4 jobs completed. Going to do it again tomorrow, and picking up a cub sickle mower with pto pulley on the way.

Always wanted one. Going to lock up some animals for the day.

Fuggin amatuers!
Your torch game is strong Eduardo!
Last time I had to gas axe a spring was putting the lift on the 95 Heep.
Spring bolt was rusted to the eye sleeve.
Had new springs, so I just torched the eye open, sliced off the rest of the rubber, drove a screwdriver in the sleeve, hosed down with possum piss, and tapped the bolts out.
Didnt want to go to town for new bolts.
Both passenger springs were that way.
The driver side both came right out.

Years ago when we did more exhaust work I used to use the torch to cut the pipe being replaced where in slid either in or over the other pipe. None of the clowns thought that could be done either.
I suppose when VaJayna will quote new cylinder heads for broken manifold bolts, that shouldn't come as a surprise.

Garee, I don't ever want to read more post's of you complaining about your job. DEALZZZ?

I’m pretty sure I haven’t complained since the *a-hole got fired the Monday before Easter. It has been much better since and getting to travel is a nice perk. Dallas TX in 2 weeks and Austin TX in September are already booked.

88 octane is a weird octane around here. Seems 87 and 93 are the more common.

They are super handy. I can get the job done and move on.
I'm the only one who uses it. Everyone else orders a new line if they can't get it apart. No clue why. I just want to finish the job rather than leave it stuck on my hoist and the customer without a vehicle.
Sorry for the break in transmission,I've got some flu that isn't RAT covid knocking me around.
How does the tool jaw grip what is essentially a softish flexible line without compressing it but still enough to force it on the barb joiner bro?
Has to be that the jaw is full circle on the hose so it can't go out of shape maybe?

I may not have mentioned it at the time but yes. 4 months in and he hadn’t completed a single project he initiated, including a promotion for me. 8 weeks from the point we had a verbal agreement to terms of the deal and still nothing in writing so I went and saw the owner and tendered my resignation, I’d had enough. Told her May 31 would be my last day, she said to me “If I fire Jason on Monday will you stay?” I told her that couldn’t say for sure, I was off that week and she fired him on Monday. Took a couple weeks and a hefty signing bonus but I signed a new deal and it has been a very good couple of months.

Question boys
I’ve been told after 3-5 days you can burn the pile because the sap turns flammable
Any truth to it?

If you have enough old tires, everything burns.

Morning hacks. Guessers say low 70s during the day and 40s at night up north this weekend, so I'm heading there after work. I might light a fire, enjoy a cigar, and see if I can find something in the cooler. Galfriend gave me a gift the other night, she gets it.20220608_214501.jpg
Stay safe today men, we've damn near arrived at the weekend.
