Swelling is worse today. I've been keeping bees for at least 20 years, and have been stung literally hundreds of times. Never had swelling like this before. I guess I've become more allergic to them over the years.

You could be giving yourself "stranger" handies with that hand.

Guess you should have a GTG this weekend to get some trees cleaned up. Did you have storm roll through? We're getting hit by a storm right now. Hope the hail goes elsewhere.
Can't wait for that, sorry.
I didn't think that storm was that bad.

I moved a bee hive from inside a building (full of bees) out into the sun. Those mfers were pissed. They stung me thru my gloves....and managed to get up my pant leg into my bee suit. Only 5 or 6 stings on this hand.

I get that, but not as bad. But those ankle biters suck, I wear gators if I my bees start to like my ankles..which some colonies do more than others.

I recon I got about 20 stings in one go, it must have been a bad day for them as they really beat me up. I guess was stubborn and stupid as well.

Then I leant when to retreat and get more armour or call it quits for the day….;)

btw, they can get everywhere and getting stung around the sack is not a pleasure that I go back for more.. it’s happened on two occasions and that’s two to many :risas3:
