Rust won that round.
Wasnt going to get the torch out and risk damaging the wire ropes.
Will order the extra parts, and change that when we replace the wire ropes.
Should be in a couple of months.
Neighbour's bought a boat with an 85HP SeaHorse 1632cc. Can holla for some transferred experience at some point? I know nothing,

I moved a bee hive from inside a building (full of bees) out into the sun. Those mfers were pissed. They stung me thru my gloves....and managed to get up my pant leg into my bee suit. Only 5 or 6 stings on this hand.

Absolutely.
Best advice. Soak EVERYTHING that has a pin or any sort of fastener in a good penetrant before even attempting to disassemble.

Dayuuum!
Is that your PORTING HAND?

Do like they do here in the Arkansas Ozarks...
Throw some Diesel on it & go on with your life! LOL

I stepped (barefooted like a idiot) into a yellow jacket hole once.
My foot was the size of a football that night!

I'd bring the ban hammer down on everyone who liked that post.

Baking soda and water huh Adam? I'll try that.

It wasn't dark.

Usually it's better to mess with them in the hottest part of the day. The most of them should be out foraging.

Yep.

Still grinding.

If I banned everyone who deserved it, I'd be here all alone.

Kerosene works well also.
Thankfully, they dont bother me.
Just kind of a warm feeling once the initial ouchy wears off.
