I think thats a fine idea.
Too many folks dont know how to operate a clutch these days.
I mean, theres a metric *s-wordton that dont know how to drive at all, but I digress...:)

If it goes according to plan, her truck will become my new plow truck and I'll sell my current one. Once winter rolls back in, I'll have her drive the truck on days bad weather is expected.

Yup.
All done.
Just want to do one more road test with it tonight.
I might be trading that job for a car for the kid. Gas prices are killing her in that 3/4 ton truck.
The guy I'm doing the job for has a body shop and sells used cars. He's got a Pontiac G5 he'd basically swap. But, it's a 5 speed. She said she's willing to learn how to drive it..
Nice. Did it suck balls having to drop the sump to access the rods with no hoist or not too bad?
Here, if you sit your learner test in an automatic, you're stuck in one until you pass your full licence after sufficient road time. If you sit in a manual (stick?) you can drive either from the git go.

All jokes aside Timofee, the amount of work even a tiny digger like that get done is staggering. I had no idea til one moved in next door to me. If Ed gets done with it I dibs next.

Morena the rest of you E Hoa's too.

Keep safe ay.
Absolutely Adam, That's a micro gem in my book. Light-2350#, Swing away boom, zero tail swing, Hydraulically gauged undercarriage from under 45" to 65", and a 12hp Kubota or Yanmar. It will still dig about 5ft deep. Perfect for yard work, and close quarter building work. I can get you a couple in a container box and float em out from Cleveland, Ohio. How many you looking for???:cool:

Just a guess on price here Ed. But that would prolly be the most thrifty $1,750 you could spend. Woods made a belly mower for those A's. Sure beats some of the MTD crap for more money. She looks good too with fresh red and decals from a distance anyhow.

I would be all over that for $1750, if it were closer. I think I would like a tractor for each implement, just so I never have to change them. My little power-trac is for swapping implements. Three point is great, if you never change them.

Dad hung a Woods 72" under a Super A in the 80's and it's still used at the lake.

My neighbor has an H that he put a 3 point set up on. Kinda bulky but it works. Fast hitch is the way to go on the old Farmall"s.

It wasn't too bad.
Jack stands and a creeper. Pan comes off easy.
