Too many people been watching YouTube…to be more specific, too many been watching IH.

I was not on this site for the IH debacle. Yet his videos would popup in my YouTube feed.

I only had to see a few bits & pieces of his videos to know he would never work on one of my saws.

Hey Brent, What tractor do you have that has points. My TO-20 has them, as do my Gravelys. Just curious.

Larry
It might be a Johnny Cash tractor.
Trans serial number(where they put the tractor #) says 1946.
Allis Chalmers model C.
Engine is a kerosene burner from an Allis power unit engine, and so is the hood. Still has the brass tag from whatever piece of road building equipment it came from, and the holes for the gasoline starter tank.
It has hydraulic lift and PTO.
Currently just stays hooked to a 6' trailer brush hog to cut that little 2 acre field.
Its worn out and needs a lot of work to be "field ready", but those are tough little bastids, and it always gets the job done. May need the crud filed off the points or some trash blown out of the carb, but they are simple to work on.
I have a 1948 Ford 8N at our house for small chores.
Its pretty much the same as the Allis. Needs a lot of work, but good enough for what I need it for.
What Gravelys do you have?
I used to have a Super convertible for a bit. Tough little machines.
We have a Proturn 460, but I dont consider it to be one of the "true"Gravelys.

All three of my tractors are diesel.
Refresh my memory.
You have the Massive Fuggupson and two "make sure you pre-lube before you go to the parts dept" Johnny poppers, right?;)
Doesnt matter what color it is, tractors are gonna cost you more than they're worth, cause the folks that made em know you are in a bind when they break.

Saw where BBR had the PM850 that Tin man did for him go teats up.
Said he was sending it back for "repairs".
Damn shame to fugg up a saw that was a natural badazz.
It takes someone of @Stump Shot talents to port a Mac.

I courted my wife on a 1948 8N.

I've got a JD1120, a 2640, and the Massey 175.

My Gravelys are a 5240 with kidney deck and 8 hp Kohler, I also have a '68 C8 with tool holder, ma106 30 brush deck, rotary plow and 42" sickle bar. I really only use the C8, with my hills I like the balance better and it has the pressurized lubrication. It is also more torque, and can lug it right down if you want to go even slower.

Then there is the Deutz d7007 fwa diesel tractor, the fergy, the PT425, with all kinds of attachments. I have too many engines I think. But I enjoy them and what I can accomplish easily with them. I still look out for old things that I could make good use of. A fat Alice, IH cubs, chainsaws, cause you never have too many right?

Oh, good morning all, where are my manners?
