Took a quick look at them online up here and the first online place I found wants $2500. I’ll have to do some local shopping and see what’s available.
Those bowflex like machines are pretty useless, they don't really train your stabilizer muscles the same way free weights do. Get a barbell and some weight plates. All you really need to begin strength training. With a barbell and a set of weights you can do deadlifts, overhead press, front squats, power cleans, rows, curls, etc... the possibilities are endless. And it will give you much better "real world" strength than a machine will. Not to mention there are no moving parts to break, its foot print is pretty small (when you aren't using the weights stand the bar up against a wall and you can get a little plate tree/stand for the weights so your foot print is tiny), and its a lot cheaper too. Now if you want to get ambitious you can pick up a squat rack or stands too.
Look at all the pro strength athletes: powerlifters, olympic weight lifters, strongman etc... their bread and butter workouts involve a barbell, not machines. I wonder why ?
