They must help cuz I’m still skinny. I’m sure the weight is gonna catch up to me eventually
It will once you hit 30 and by the time you’re 40 you’ll be just another fat guy with a receding hair line and a bad back

So ‘push-ups’ help the fat gut now...hmmmm! Keep eating that *s-wordt and you’ll be a Jenny Craig candidate in no time. DirtyTec as well!

I can remember 15, could eat everything and not gain weight.

I also remember 23 when I stopped training Nordic skiing/ Biathlon winter and Triathlon in summer. Metabolism put the brakes on and I didn’t the eating. Body changed a lot in the few years following, paying for it now.

On that note, I don’t want to join a gym but would like to do some strength training. Anyone have any recommendations for a home gym that is reasonably priced and not going to take up the entire basement?

I know of some of what your talking about
I've helped build multiple house's
Garages Barn's etc.
And all kinds of repair work over the years.
Often losing money on other Jobs
I could've done.
In over 7 year's since I bought this new place not one person has helped me do anything
When I needed help.
Neighbors yes I've come home several times to my yard being mowed
When I had knee surgery or
gout flare-ups
Anymore people can *f-word themselves.
They can hire somebody.
My friend I helped build his house is going to help put a metal roof on my house.

A jump rope. Not BSing either. Jump rope for 15 minutes a day and it'll kick your ass into shape.

That’s a decent idea, I’ll likely do that. I just can’t indoors anywhere and it will be damn cold outside soon.

My cardio is greatly improved over where it was last winter, would like to build up my upper body some. Since I stopped swimming it has never been the same.

I’ll shoot you some pics of two Body Solid home gyms I have here directly. When I bought them they were $900 a piece. I believe they’re around $1300-1400 now.
