I didn’t do what I ‘did’ by design back in those days. Just a young ass male who fell in love with a HS sweetheart...hence all these yrs later...a 29 yr old Navy son, and a 22 yr old college graduate Nursing School daughter. It eventually worked out this way...and I’m happy for both...it’s been very costly, and I wouldn’t have it no other way. I’ve lived some crazy *frenching yrs under my belt with that Marine Corps stuff...and took its toll, sadly...on my marriage. Buts it’s ok...and the lesson learned is where I’m at today...good, bad, different, indifferent. We shine as best we can! Its the only decent thing we got...we shine as best we can through everything.
I’m proud of you young man. You keep that family together...come hell or high water.
I failed in my one and only attempt to do the same...and I missed a lot of great teenage yrs with my kids at home...I went to all their games in Mid School, in HS. Don’t *f-wordk up like I did...
