I bet...I never lifted any of my XJs, but the motor mount lift in my TJ was a game changer.
Doesnt have a carrier bearing out back does it?Lifted the Jeep. I like the ride height, vibrates like a mfer....still got some work to do.![]()
This isn't a Ranger...Doesnt have a carrier bearing out back does it?
I went with Zone. Supposed to be 3" lift but it's sitting at 4" at the moment. All my original springs were either shot or broken. Rides pretty decent just have to get the driveline sorted.More GOODER DJ!
What kit you put on?
Usually go wif Rough Country here. Pretty simple and solid stuff.
No it has the Chrysler 8.25 rear which has the shortest drive shaft of any of the XJ's. Makes the angle quite steep so I'm going to drop the transfer case some to compensate for now. Then go with a double cardan shaft to fix it proper later on.Doesnt have a carrier bearing out back does it?
Never had a problem with the YJ after a 3" lift.
JK I had to replace the front transfer case Rzeppa CV joint.
Yeah fuggin awful. LolDrive shaft vibration?
4 by's in general are fun. I've beat the piss out of a lot of them.I dont know much about XJs.
Early CJs, YJs, a little about JKs.
Heres my old 51 CJ3A.

No shame in a case drop. Those factory skid plates are an anchor though. Where are you wheeling DJ?No it has the Chrysler 8.25 rear which has the shortest drive shaft of any of the XJ's. What's the benefit?I never lifted any of my XJs, but the motor mount lift in my TJ was a game changer.

I bet the owner is super happy when he get it back with all the scratches on it..
Improved driveshaft angle for that stubby rear shaft. Back when I did it MORE made them. Not sure if they're still around but it was a nice product. What's the benefit?
Whats your pinion angle look like? Sometimes on lifted vehicles it helps with driveline vibration if you use angled shims on the leaf spring pads if thats what you have. Could be a cheaper optionNo it has the Chrysler 8.25 rear which has the shortest drive shaft of any of the XJ's.
