What kit you put on?
Usually go wif Rough Country here. Pretty simple and solid stuff.
I went with Zone. Supposed to be 3" lift but it's sitting at 4" at the moment. All my original springs were either shot or broken. Rides pretty decent just have to get the driveline sorted.

Doesnt have a carrier bearing out back does it?
Never had a problem with the YJ after a 3" lift.
JK I had to replace the front transfer case Rzeppa CV joint.
No it has the Chrysler 8.25 rear which has the shortest drive shaft of any of the XJ's. Makes the angle quite steep so I'm going to drop the transfer case some to compensate for now. Then go with a double cardan shaft to fix it proper later on.

No shame in a case drop. Those factory skid plates are an anchor though. Where are you wheeling DJ?

Whats your pinion angle look like? Sometimes on lifted vehicles it helps with driveline vibration if you use angled shims on the leaf spring pads if thats what you have. Could be a cheaper option
