Dave posted up a link earlier about the Mr. Heater Buddy and the larger Big Buddy LP heaters. They’ll run off 1lb cylinders or 20lb cylinders as well with a hose/regulator combo Mr. Heater sells. Got to looking at the prices of these now, just damn insane what they’re going for nowadays. Here’s two of the three Big Buddy LP heaters I’ve got here at the house (let one of my brothers hold the third one at his apartment in case power/heat goes out there). I paid $85-90 each for these about five years ago, of course the smaller BTU Buddy models were less than that. These things will warm a house quick especially set on high and the blower fan running on these Big Buddy heaters. I’ve ran the *s-wordt out of ‘em when I needed ‘em, and they’ve yet to ever fail to do their thing.

My brother was doing some demo work at an ammonia plant called Arcadia that blew up in my hometown when I was a kid. He had to cut through some zirconium heat exchangers and he told me they were using a cutting torch that used gasoline. You have any experience with that? Sounds like something else I don’t want anything to do with.
