I am one of the first members on the tree house .A fact that truely pizzed off a certain forum owner who lives in a "bed room" community in Denver Co .Much to his chagrin he found out the hard way he didn't own the internet because there are a bunch of forums none of which he can controll , this being one of them. Each forum has it's own flavor so to speak .Most are good but some lead off down a path that they fall out of favor .FB is just FB .I spend way too much time on it myself .
You get on the subject of modifying chainsaws and there's a hundred ways to skin the same cat and they all work.Nothing really is what you might call "new " ,it's just methods revisited .I find them all interesting though .So with that no matter what method used the cat gets skinned ,that's my take on it .

I like it here. Hang out at the firewood horders quite a bit too. I lurk over at the treehouse and have been praying for Butch for quite a while now. Hate to hear about such a gooder guy struggling with that *s-word. Hang at the treebuzz some but it gets pretty salty/hardcore over there.

Snipers hide is my go to forum for long range shooting stuff. Their trading post is the biggest I’ve ever seen for firearms and optics. I went to one of the AR15 forums once and that was enough for me. Used to be active on 4 diesel forums but kind of got out of that stuff and faded away.

Lol that is funny, you are right about the gun size for brown bear, I always carried a Winchester model 94 in .375 cal. When I lived there. It took care of moose and bear.

Some guy tried to do a mass shooting with one of those a few years back in the Ottawa parliament buildings. But was taken out with a single shot from a 9mm Glock.
