Butch's forum is good but most of the clientele there aren't really chainsaw guys so much as they're more dyed-in-the-wool arborist and horticulture types.

Butch is a good old boy and was one of the earliest members at AS.

Right on JJ. Treehouse is not a saw forum. Real arborists hang there. It's a great place to learn about gear, climbing, and other aspects of the business.

Butch is seeing the traffic on the site fall way off.......I've assured him it's not just his site. Unmoderated free for alls like Facebook are pulling many folks away from real forums.

I visit the Subaru and square body Chevy forums. I used to do a lot on the smokestack forum.

I used to be on ford f-150 but I stopped going on it because everytime I posted alot of the guys were pretty much saying i was lying about certain aftermarket parts I've been running on my truck for X amount of years. Wasn't there to argue just help and ask for help. That's it.

Yep, there are some jerks on every forum you go on.
I'm on a AR-15 forum and a reloading forum that I forgot about.

Alaska outdoor supersite.
Has a lot of good info and content related to hunting, fishing etc. How much gun do you need for a brown bear? It's right up there with the 2 stroke oil threads. Anyway, it's somewhere between a .223 and .460 weatherby.
Lol that is funny, you are right about the gun size for brown bear, I always carried a Winchester model 94 in .375 cal. When I lived there. It took care of moose and bear.
