STA super traction or power king super traction if the Z71 has a 16'' these are only availble in 7.50-16 and these are bias ply not radials.
you might need to change to different rim to run these they are tall and skinny and the rim can only be 5-6.5 inches wide.
It has stock 16" wheels, but I'm not sure of the width. Plus biased plys are awesome in the snow and mud, but it's still going to be in traffic and towing a trailer so I'll have to find a meaty set of radials...

I'd be concerned about that 1/2 ton hauling that load if it wasn't made from real tornadoes

Not sure I understand the last part. As to the truck, the load is within its tow rating. It has some special towing package: bigger rear axle, disc brakes, 17" wheels, 3.73 gears, and 405 hp 6.2.

An old CUCV with the 6.2 diesel yanked out and replaced by a 4bt or 6bt Cummins, or 7.3 IDI would be a hell of a pasture/wood truck. ...

I spent much of my youth crossing pastures and chasing cows. The first time I took the M35A3 cross country I was amazed that it was much more comfortable at 35 mph in the pasture than any pickup I have ever ridden or driven at that speed. The air ride seat was nice but the better ride was attributable to the suspension as well. The cucv rides like you would expect - will bounce you into the ceiling.

Been there? There some "hills" you might not want to try rolling down...
There is a difference in perception of what a mountain is. It's all based on relative geography. I have peaks within a matter of a few miles to the East that exceed 9000', and a few to the Northeast that exceed that, with one at 11,400 feet.

Tallest peak in Idaho is Mt. Borah at 12,662. I climbed it and thought I was badass in my 20's. Then I realized there were other mountain ranges around the world that make Mt. Borah look like a mole hill. There are 109 with peaks greater than 23,622.

I got a good buzz going right now and it makes me want to chat like a little school girl. I will tell you an interesting fact about Mt. Borah. I was in the eighth grade waiting for 1st period gym class to start when an earthquake hit. I remember feeling dizzy and looking across the gym floor and it looked like waves on a lake. That earthquake came from Mt. Borah...a long ways from our home in SW Idaho. The peak gained 1 ft. in elevation and the valley floor lost 8 ft. in elevation. I'll never forget that day. My gym teacher came running out of his office scared to death and yelled for everyone to get outside. As we gathered outside on the basketball courts, I could still see the metal nets swaying. Made me understand the awesome force of nature.
