FOUND IT NOS 2100 fuel/oil caps.

A fella here sent me an NOS cap but it is more gray than the black used ones I have. Im looking for another gray or two black caps with the metal chains and restraint tang.

I found a nice black gas cap. No oil caps.

The oil caps are vented. Gas are not.

I would think so. I talked to my Husky guy and he said you can still get new 2100 gas caps. He has one in stock and it's grey.

I remember what the diffence is. Do you want to know how to tell? Here's a gas cap I found.

All the replacement caps I have found have the plastic retainers. I would like to know the differnce Howard.

Ok here it is. The way you tell the difference on the old caps is the gas caps have a flat gasket and the oil cap has an o-ring.

Oil is vented w/ one way rubber flapper on backside
