Cleaned up an old Tilly HS today. Put new kit in. Put back on the saw..

Couldn't get a tune.

Tore it down checked passages, metering lever, screen, welch plug. All good.

Put it back on. Same cheot!

Did this a total of 3 times!

In the end I found the gasket from carb to manifold had a hanging knock out for the impulse. It some how slid back into the hole blocking the pulse.

I swear the holes were there when I started!! I always check seen to many poorly aligned or not cut through punhes.

Anyway that's how my day went. Got we running good after that!

Just goes to show sometimes the simplest most obvious answer... Can be the right one!
