ms660 is NLA, it has been replaced by ms651. I've sent scouts around to look for units at dealerships nationwide, once they get dried up. I will not be able to get em anymore

Hard to like a post like that. I had a suspicion it would not last forever. Is the 651 going to be regular carb or m tronic?

I had a hunch too j, you know they say when everything seems to be too good something oughta go wrong soon

651 carbed, same cc everything but smaller carb. Like ms780, the smaller carb will give us the much needed torque for our hardwood. Im amazed by the length stihl is going to make sure we get a torqueier saw than rest of the world

Knowing their business strategy i believe it'll be easily available for next 10 years. Putting together a complete saw from parts will cost more than double over here, not sure the case outside my country. Brand new units being parted out are a common deal over here, especially power cutters
