The fin arrangement on the cylinder looks a lot different as well. It's strange that Stihl has continued to develop that platform.

Good eyes, the cylinder is alot more slanted than the other old models. Look like they took the same route as ms461, slant design improves intake angle and exhaust angle? Improving flow? Flywheel fins are lesser but alot bigger. They did changes on recoil air entry paths, guessing this design will cool the cylinder better.

Agreed, this models predecessors has been in production for too long. Its odd they kept this platform alive, but the following in 3rd world countries are too strong to discontinue it

Im a simple man i see an opening i call it a port lol, i see 3 opening i call it triple port lol. You folks get the same muffler? I thought they had the front dp screen?
