As much as i hate to say this, i really doubt. Usually they will send production straight to br once that particular model becomes non emissions, like 038 mag to 381 all were made in br before they stopped sending to 1st world countries. It was entering 1st world in early stage. In this case they kept making in Germany until now, if they were going to keep making it. It should have been made in br long ago, and they wouldn't have stopped the supply. Br should have started making and it should be coming in already

After supply ran out close by and I start sourcing outside my state i got to know from resources that 660 was actually stopped production in late 2018. They made a long run of batch, before ending it. And a customer of mine said that's when 461 production also ended, which all makes sense now. The 660 out there are the last run of 2018, looks like they made alot to supply for years to come. But didn't expect it to run out this quick?

660 is still listed in Fiji stihl site, maybe try there?

Congrats, that is awesome! What bar and chain are you going to run? I agree, nightrogue is an amazing seller and just all around great guy to work with.

I fitted it with a 28“ light bar and a Stihl Rapid Super full chisel chain, that’s about the sweet spot for a 660/661, at least for me. Needs a full wrap handle though

I saw one at my dealership here in Michigan last week,just over $1,000 Plus tax and they had 2 500i for $1300 a piece plus tax!

That's the cheapest price on the 500i that I've seen. Our local dealer has some but not for $1,300.
