Our rep here said "Fall 2017".....but his lips were moving when he said it, so I strongly suspect he was full of *s-word.

That's odd that your rep claims one is in the pipeline and mine made no mention of such. I wonder if it has something to do with the distribution network? My distributor is Florida Outdoor Equipment, who is yours?

They are available now. My dealer got it from the distributor in one day after he ordered it. That was about two weeks ago.

Think they were talking about a new 70cc offering.

Echo DID NOT stage this, found it on YouTube.
Will this require a concealed carry permit?
I was fairly certain that I had a hankering for one of these based on your initial post, but that video and the handle doubling as a cap tool, has me prepared to fire up the old PayPal money printer!
I wasn't at all intimidated by the msrp, appears to be a quality product, and you get what you pay for and all that stuff! Plus I can always Presbyterian em down a little...

I picked one up at a dealer, it felt like all the weight was in the front. A 1/4” bar and chain would even it out, but it’s plenty light as is. I liked the side handle but I think it would lead to not properly positioning your hand to catch the brake handle during kickback.
