7910 sounds like the best option to me. Plenty of power for 28" in oak and a great deal. Best deal in saws right now. HL supply has som.e great husky deals right now too, check out his ad in the F/S section

A 462 is not cheap, but if you plan to keep it for years the power/wt will put a smile on your face. Good for up to 28" bar.

For the 36", I would look for a used 066/660 or get an Asian clone on the cheap for occasional use (and ice). They are also good for milling.

Dolmar PS7900/7910 aka. Makita EA7900 will pull and oil a 36" 3/8" 115DL B&C setup perfectly fine, even fully buried noodling beech and bucking dense turkey oak (regular oak is soft compared to turkey oak!).

A Makita EA7300 is also a very viable option, has nearly the same power but is more affordable than her 79cc sibling.
A heated handles EA7300 is in the price range of a non-heated EA7900 IIRC.

All the large frame Dolmar/Makita's need is a muffler mod and they'll eat through anything You throw at them.
24-28" B&C is small potatoes for these.
