Hopefully, he will never know!
I think the thin skirt will be ok, I've used a few 268 Farmertec closed port pistons in 372s without a problem and they have just as thin of a skirt as Duke's piston, I have a 372 with one in it now..

I decided to take a couple of pics of both pistons and measure the skirts, I'm glad I did, it turns out that the Duke's piston skirt is to small for my exhaust port. It looks like I'll have to use the Hyway piston with the Neotec cylinder and the Duke's with the Hyway cylinder, here's some comparative pics of the two pistons.

I've been playing around with another saw so I haven't got much done on the 660, I did get the Hyway piston cut down tonight and the squish will be .018 without the gasket. Here's the piston, the circle in the middle is from the short piece of aluminum pipe I had putting pressure on the piston and it dulled the finish. Also I forgot to put pics of the transfers after I was done with them. I should have it finished up this weekend.

I know alot of fellows stronger and weaker than me block the decomp on all their saws ,but if you have a high compression big cc motor you might want to keep it for the recoils sake.
From what I understand these AM recoils are prone to breaking so I'm going to put an OEM Husqvarna decomp in it.

:eusa_whistle:Waiting patiently to see how this thing does. Been thinking of selling my 550xp MK2 to purchase a project 064/066/660 or clone.

Not much left to finish up it those pics. You got the meat out. Polishing it up won't change much if anything.

It took awhile with my little dental tool. I didn't polish anything and I put it on just like the pics I posted, except I beveled my exhaust some more.

Just don't add bevels to the sides

That tool is a tiny contra angle.
Might be good for one new saw I've run across. The burr is bit small though.

I got it all back together and ran a tank through it, it's not no high rpm saw but it runs good and should do fine milling. It's around 13,300 WOT in the video but I think I'll richen it up a bit.

Just a small update, I ordered a pocket bike velocity stack and bored out the intake hole so I could put on a Uni filter, still waiting on a sock for it. I also swapped out the handlebar with the one that came with my kit saw.

I decided today to re-do this Hyway Titanikel cylinder and see how it runs. The numbers ended up being,
EX 96
TR 116
IN 84

The Neotec cylinder ran good, I'm just getting some porting practice in.
