Ive spun a bunch of chains that way... deal was i was side jobbing for a rental company who rented 455 460 huskys. 20"-24". Ever time a saw was rented, it got a brand new chain. They were throwing once used chains away.......until i got there lol. Probly bought home 100+ loops of 20" and 24" 3/8 .050ga

I'd use full skip. In my opinion 32" full comp is the most that should be used on a stock 90cc.

I think i will go with a full skip, for no other reason than less teeth to sharpen.
I did spin up a 105 link a little bit ago, there were more rocked teeth than i first thought... ill keep it for leveling stumps and what not and get a new full skip for felling

Julian did some testing a while back. Semi skip full chisel cut faster than full skip chisel.
Just saying...

I run full comp 36" on my PS-7310 (73cc) & PS-7900 (79cc), no problem just don't go aggressive on the rakers.

I don't fell, I only buck though.

Ive always run full comp, even on my long bars. I always was of the mindset keep it sharp and let the saw do the work. I run longer bars on most my stuff using that method. But im not a logger either, tho id like to be.

I mostly wanted to try the semi or full skip just for trying sake. Hell i didnt even know skip chain existed until i got on these forums lol.

I always used full comp as well until I got a free semi-skip chain. I was pleasantly surprised! I use semi-skip on 32 and above.

Is there something unsavory about oregon powercut bars? I got my mine in the mail. Brand new in the package 32" for only $29.95. Looks ok to me, made in Canada single rivet replaceable tip. Maybe i just got a screamin deal
