Pulled the trigger on the new saw fever.
Thanks to all I made a list of recommended Echos. I'm set on one because of local dealers good attitude towards me.
But they are having a hard time stocking them.
While waiting I got though the large amount of brush with my old saws.
I now have that 38" poplar butt to deal with.

So I bought a 572.
Never owned a auto tune. If anyone chimes in about set up or run in, I'm all ears.
No bar or chains yet.

New little saw lol.

Congrats on the new little saw. So you won't be needing those 51s and 55s anymore, just box them up and send them my way, I'll pay shipping.

Well my helpers birthday came along. Went to Echo shop and nothing there (4th time). Went to my other local shop and bought him a Stihl ms170.

I could use some help translating the bar,
55x1.1/.043
16" 3/8p
3005 008 3913 xg

#1 Is Picco and lo pro 1 in the same?
#2 .043 gauge
33 How many driver links?
#4 What's a good chain for limbing and stuff?

Picco and lo pro are the same, the chain on the 017/170 saws is usually Picco micro (semi chisel) mini (narrow kerf) .043. I bought an 017 long time ago, it came with the same chain. 55 is the driver link count. I use it for limbing up to about 6", handy little saw and when used within it's limits will last a long time. I put a 14" Picco micro .050 gauge bar and chain on my 017, it uses the same spur sprocket as the PMM chain. The chain it comes with is good for limbing, but not as fast as limbing with an MS261CM!
