Mowers and More looked all sad and empty inside. :llorona:

That old beast on the left has been destroying everything from blackberry bushes to sumac to 2" trees for decades, though hasn't been run in a couple years or so. Sachs Dolmar BC400.

The little Stihl on the right is my Dad's FS-38. OK for what it is. Definitely a home-owner, but handy for it's complete one-handed operation.

I love my little Dolmar MS-22C! This little thing really cranks, and I think is right around 9 pounds, fully gassed and wound with line! It's got a 1.3 cu in that smashes out .9 hp, but I'm thinking Randy can get it closer to one-five! What do you think? Might be able to wind it with piano wire, or maybe barbed, see what kind of trouble I can get into!

In a van, down by the river...
I bought a new Stihl FS100RX in April 2011. Finally went to put a carb kit in it last year, and a new carb was $4 more than a kit. Lol. So I put a new carb on it. Oh, and wore out one bump feed head. Other than that, it's been dead nutz reliable. My next one will be a Redmax though...

I have this one that I bought at Tractor Supply when we moved into the house. It's a real dog as it comes straight from the store. It could use a muff mod and retune, but I haven't taken the time to do it yet. I need to buy a d-shaped carb tool first.

Stihl KM-130R with brush cutter, speed feed head and power sweep. This was when I bought new last year. About ready to get the power sweep out for getting the gravel out of the yard from plowing.

They're definitely a different machine than a 2 stoke. It takes some getting used to. It almost has too much power, but I got the biggest so I didn't end up wanting more power for some attachment down the road.

A very wise move…the one i did was for a landscaper so was used commercially. The power is exelent on a grass/scrub blade and will run the sweep you have without the need to run it flat out with its Torque. Its nice on a long reach hedge trimmer ..But.. be- where ! the gearbox takes a pounding with the Toque so needs good Lytham grease in it and changing now and again is a smart move giving the opportunity to spot the start of any failure early.
