Ya Ive been using it with a blade to cut smaller trees but I want something with alil more oommpphhh!! Its killer for a weedtrimmer though. Im lookin at brushcutters now

I have a 240 and a 240r. Love them and great fuel economy.

I got a husky 225 bought new only replaced the coil and of course muffler modded i throttle bleeb that thing all the while trimming the lawn.

That 250 is almost impossible to find now

you can still buy the powerhead through stihl.
they currently use that engine on the HT 250 pole saw.

I have three trimmers and until recently, only one worked, a two year old echo. I decided to fix them or get rid of them. I first overhauled the Sears Brush Wacker. This trimmer uses heavy twisted cord and it will take down trees. Besides new plug, gas lines, carb overhaul and cleaning, the only thing I did was open the exhaust. This is now my favorite trimmer by far. It sounds mean and trims mean. The third trimmer is a Homelite and it runs good but it is an "old ladies trimmer". My Sears sounds like it has a V8 behind it!
