The first 036 I had was a Pro version that I traded for from another member. But right after getting it running,I traded it to a friend that liked Stihl better than his 670 Jonsered. Soo, I never cut with it. Picked up enough parts saws to make another 036.
Did the muffler mod and today I went and cut with it.Now I'm into Husky's and Jonsered, but this saw was smooth. Has a 18 inch bar with a new RS chain.I bought all new rubbers for the anti vibe and plan on playing with the jug when I tear it all back apart. Hard to believe I won't Really like the saw in the near future.
Anyone one want to share some numbers?

I like the 036 and have a couple of them. I also have about 3 of the Jonsered 670's. As to which one I like best well.
If it were on power alone it would be the 670. 67cc verses 60cc. The Jonsered will pull a 24" bar no sweat. The 036 is best with a 20" bar.
Now if I am cutting nothing but smaller wood the 036 is lighter and handier so much nicer to use. So It really depends on what I am cutting as to what saw
I will break out with or which one I would like best. I think they are both great saws.
