I've talked with quite a few on the phone, but I recall that I have only met five in person.

Jon knows me well. These 166's are probably my all time favorite saw.
This one i built using a damaged cylinder and had it bored 4mm over
and used a Stihl 084 piston which i modded to work. Saw runs well and
pulls like a freight train. Went from a 56mm bore to a 60mm and now
at 136cc's.

I still need to run a 661 some day. I will probably lean towards a 390 or 395 but I want to run all three before spending the money once...

All nice saw, I love my 395, but my 288 I run daily. And the thought of a 390 being the resurection of a 288:) excited me. I want one. Revised edition I guess:)

Wow I do want one. You going to cut with it soon or keep it parked awhile? I've heard nothing but good things about them. Looks like an amazing saw, if it's near what the 288 is, which I'm sure it is, it's most worthy then:) on way to work today, oak down across county road, 288 comes out again:)

As much as I hate to admit it...work is slow where I'm at. Quit the company I have been with for the last 10 years last week. Going to have to travel for work. It is going to be parked for a little while. Most likely until mid spring or so.
